Payments in chat

Sending ETH#

Press the coin icon in the composer, enter an amount and send your message. Payments are private: anyone can see that money moved, but not who received it. The recipient sees the payment in the chat and presses Claim to move it into their wallet.

Sending tokens#

   Choose USDC

   Pick USDC in the payment panel. Whispr only supports ETH and Circle's USDC on Base.

   Sign

   When you send, your wallet asks you to sign for that amount. There is no separate approval and no gas.

   Claim

   The recipient presses Claim on the payment in the chat. That's gasless too.

Payment history#

Payment history in the left panel lists public payments you have sent and received. Private payments live in their conversations, where they can be claimed.
